Koutsounari is a small seaside village 102km away from Heraklion airport, 50km from Sitia airport/port and 11km away from Ierapetra. Just in front of the village there is the long beach (5km) of Agios Jannis with thick grey sand and in parts the beach is organized.

There are a few hotels, a well organized camping, as well as rooms and studios to rent. As for food, you will not be disappointed by the food offered by the local tavernas, restaurants and cafes.
